Power Tech's On-Site Gold maintenance program is designed to provide comprehensive on-site service for UPS supporting mission-critical business applications.

On-site UPS maintenance service: 24 hours, 7 days

Power Tech's National Call Centre is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide on-site remedial support to your UPS system.

Parts and on-site labour provided free of charge (excluding batteries & battery replacement labour)

All parts are provided free of charge on a changeover basis. The UPS will be repaired with new or fully reconditioned parts as required.

4 hour on-site response (metro areas only)

The standard service response time for Power Tech On-Site Gold is 4 hours, and is defined as sites within a 50-kilometre radius from the State's main capital city GPO. Remedial service can normally be scheduled for same-day or next-day on-site response on a best-efforts basis

Annual Preventive Maintenance visit available

Regular maintenance checks will ensure your UPS continues to operate to specification. Your On-site Gold maintenance program includes an annual Preventative Maintenance visit during business hours for Equipment over 1 Kva, and after hours (excluding public holidays) for Equipment 3 Kva and over, to ensure your UPS performs to specification.

Free use of portable loan unit during breakdown or recovery situation

In the event that a UPS problem cannot be remedied on-site, Power Tech's On-Site Gold maintenance program provides for, on a best efforts basis, a loan unit to be sent to site to protect your critical systems while your UPS is at one of our service centres. Equipment freight, shipping pallet deposit and insurance charges to and from The Company will be borne by The Customer.

Free engineering updates

Power Tech maintains comprehensive service history of each UPS in the field. Engineering updates are installed as part of your On-Site Gold maintenance program, including upgrade to software (if originally supplied by The Company) for equipment 3 Kva and over.

24 hour telephone support service

On-Site Gold customers are entitled to free telephone support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via Power Tech's National Call Centre.
